This readme file contains general information and descriptions of the files
available for download.

All files are zipped with gzip to reduce the size and thus increase download
time. Some of the downloadable files are actually tar archives that contain
several files (sometimes quite a lot), this is typically for EMBL and GFF files.

For Windows user, the 7-Zip is open source software and it's idea to unpack
the compressed files. (It's free of Virus and free of charge.)

To browse the genomic or EMBL files, one can open them by any text editor like NotePad. 
Other Bio-software like GenomeView, BioEdit or Aremis has better visualization
result.

Files are named based on the modification time. For example the Genome
sequence of GS115 is called Pichia_GS115.genome_0509.tar.gz. The sequences are
collected on May 2009.
