PlantSSP database download

The PlantSSP database provides a comprehensive overview of plant small secreted proteins in 32 plant genomes. This web site provides an easy to use interface for novice users. On the other hand, we encourage users with advanced bioinformatics skills to download the precomputed data to improve the genome annotation of plant species. Feedbacks and suggestions are welcome to enrich the understanding of plant small secreted proteins.

FASTA sequence

CorePlantSSP: The protein sequence used to build the HMM profiles based on 5 core plant species, only contains the last 50 aa of the C-term. The prefix of the FASTA header contains the SSP family and cluster ID.

PlantSSP: Candidate Plant SSP in 32 plant species, only contains the last 50 aa of the C-term. The prefix of the FASTA header contains the SSP family and cluster ID.

PlantSSP per species: Candidate Plant SSP in 32 plant species, organized one file per species. The prefix of the FASTA header contains the SSP family and cluster ID.

HMM profiles

The PlantSSP hidden Markov Model (HMM) profiles based on 5 well annotated plant species in HMMER3 format.
