List of type I MADS-box genes in Arabidopsis thaliana and Oryza sativa

Genes were annotated using GeneMark.hmm (Lukashin and Borodovsky, 1998) combined with manual correction based on sequence similarity with closely related genes. Hmmer (Eddy, 1996) was used to detect remote homologs.

Links to MIPS annotations are added where the annotation is correct. If not, a link to protein and nucleic acid sequences is provided. For genes on BAC AF058914 there are different locus names in MIPS and TIGR.

Gene family data is submitted to MAtDB and TAIR databases and will be available at time of publication of the paper.
