Integrating microRNA expression data and other sources in module network reconstruction.

Biological functions arise from interaction between a defined set ofcomponents, thereby defining modules. Systems biology approachestry to infer module networks from high-throughput 'omics' data. Wehave created a module network algorithm relying on probabilistic opti-mization techniques, capable of integrating heterogeneous data typesfor the candidate regulators. We summarize here the results of theapplication of this algorithm on two different datasets linked to can-cer.
